Formulated with Sulfur
AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash also contains 2 percent sulfur (S). Called “the fourth major nutrient,” sulfur has many important functions in plant growth and must be present in sufficient amounts in the soil and plant tissue for plants to realize the benefits of nitrogen and potassium. Sulfur helps produce higher-quality vegetables, tree fruits, small grains, legumes and forages. Higher protein and oil levels in seed, and high protein and vitamin A production in forages and legumes are also benefits of adequate sulfur fertility.
All-Natural Kelp
AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash uses kelp concentrate derived from Ascophyllum nodosum, a species of seaweed grown in the icy North Atlantic Ocean. It contains high levels of plant-growth hormones, amino acids, micronutrients and potash. When used as a fertilizer, kelp promotes robust and healthy plants by reducing their susceptibility to stress caused by heat, cold and periods of drought. Kelp can also increase plant growth rates, fruit production, size and general quality.
Balanced Formula
In addition to the many benefits provided by the kelp and sulfate of potash, AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash contains fulvic and humic acids to release nutrients from the soil, act as chelating agents, aid in foliar and root uptake and stimulate soil microbial activity. As the microbes multiply, they break down organic matter into humus and further nourish the soil as they die. These nutrients are slowly and steadily released and gradually become available to the growing plant or crop. AGGRAND Natural Kelp and Sulfate of Potash also contains natural wintergreen oil to improve scent.
